About
Small on purpose
In one paragraph
Never Missed AI is run by Clay Sauter. It sets up AI call answering, missed-call text-back, lead follow-up and review automation for home-service contractors, and builds the websites underneath them. The person who builds your setup is the person who answers when you call about it.
Most of what gets sold to contractors as AI is a template with the business name swapped in. It fails in a specific and predictable way: the agent does not know what the company refuses to take on, so it books work the crew cannot do, in towns they do not drive to, and the owner turns it off inside a month having concluded the technology does not work.
The technology works. The handover is what fails. So every script here is written against a real company’s trades, service radius, urgency rules and the jobs it turns down — and that is the part that cannot be templated, which is why this stays small.
We also build the websites, because the rest of it has nowhere to land otherwise. Those are pre-rendered static sites with structured data on every page, so both search engines and AI assistants can read the facts rather than infer them.
Standing rules
Things we will not do, including when asked
No review gating
Filtering unhappy customers away from Google before they can post violates Google's review policies and risks the profile you are paying us to grow. We ask everyone, consistently, and respond to what arrives.
No invented numbers
No statistic appears on this site or in a proposal unless it is a published platform threshold or arithmetic you can run on your own data. The recycled percentages in this industry are mostly untraceable and often false.
No thin city pages
We will not publish forty near-identical pages with a town name swapped in. They do not rank any more, and they drag down the pages that would have.
No hostage-taking
Your domain, numbers, calendar and Google profile stay in your name. Leaving should cost you an afternoon, not a negotiation.
Who runs it
Clay Sauter
Clay Sauter founded Never Missed AI to do one thing properly: make sure the calls a contractor cannot answer still turn into booked work.
The work spans the whole path a customer takes — the call, the text that follows it, the follow-up on a quote, the review afterwards, and the website and Google profile that produced the enquiry in the first place. They are not separate products so much as one system with several entry points.
